Pooling our resources to overcome the diverse challenges surrounding marine insurance: this was the principle that led to the founding of Hanseatische Kasko-Versicherungsagentur (HKVA) in 2003. Over 100 years of experience in transport insurance and extensive expertise in marine insurance have been incorporated into our independent insurance agency based in Bremen on the river Weser.

In an increasingly difficult market, we see ourselves as a quality-oriented alternative to the few existing German underwriting agencies. We are actively expanding our capacities in maritime underwriting with domestic and foreign insurance companies. With experience and diligence, we ensure that our customers from the shipping industry have access to the most suitable insurance market.
